Fair

The kids were very excited for the fair this year. JP remembered it from last year and KW loves everything, especially if her brother is excited about it.

JP would have done this roller coaster ALL day and night! His favorite by far.

JP was so excited to get the first car!! Didn't work himself up to let go of the handle bar but I am sure that will come next year!

KW loved all the animals. In the cow barn she wanted to pet and talk to all the cows and LOVED the little feeder calf one of our friends had. I think if she could have taken it home she would have.

First home game of the season!

JP & KW were very excited to get to go to the "go Cougs" game with mom and dad.
They were even more excited when they discovered the bouncy toys outside of the field house.

Mini Vacation

JP has asked me all summer to go to the beach so I decided it would be fun to take a quick after harvest trip to the beach. I really wanted to go to seaside but with harvest getting done so late we had a very small window between harvest and school and other commitments so instead we went to Couer d'Alene. It was my first time there along with the kids. We had a great time. It was a little windy and chilly but that didn't stop the kids from getting in the water.

Even though it wasn't sand castle sand JP was still very happy with the beach.

KW was too!

After the kids had their fill of the beach we walked over to the play ground

Feeding the ducks at River Front Park

My animal lover never missed a beat feeding the geese and ducks even after one of the geese bit the hand that was feeding it!

The kids could have spent all day on the Radio Flyer Slide

With an ancy farmer our 2 day get away was perfect! Just what the kids (and mom) needed after a very long harvest!

Harvest Final Addition.... ( I Hope)

We are crossing our fingers that at the end of the day today the combines will be making their final harvest cut for 2009! HURRAY

Dirty girl while driving truck with mom. (Darn WSU for starting school during harvest) - Poor Franky got stuck with me in the field. I conveniently forgot how to dump the truck this year so I got to stay in the field and move the trucks while Franky took them down to dump. :)
The kids did great in the truck (until 2:30 when we went home and called in re-enforcements)

Yes Fashionista in training!
JP loves his daily rides with Dad on the combine. He let Mom and sis ride ONE time with dad that was it. The only reason he agreed to that was that he got to dump the truck with Bryan while we rode with dad.

Harvest is so fun!

Water Park with AJ

We finally had some good weather when AJ was here so we took an afternoon and went to the water park.

AJ is here for a visit!

We are so lucky to have cousin AJ here from Michigan for a visit! All of P's sisters made it home for 4 fun filled days.

Celebrating Oli's 2nd birthday

All 7 cousins together!
The weather did not cooperate for us for our days of swimming and combine rides, so we had to improvise with some other activities.... LJ, CD, and I took the 4 older kids out bowling while the three little ones stayed at Grandma's house.

AJ & JP loved this alligator game....
And this roller coaster ride - JP was a riot he thought it was so fun and kept checking over the edge of the seat to make sure they were really still on the ground.

This was JP's first time bowling....

Beginners luck!
Our neighbor was very nice and let all the kids come over for pony rides. Here is HP riding "the big one"

This is a swing that P's Uncle Mike built that is still holding up strong

I thought it would be fun to have a "camp out" at Uncle P and Aunt B's so to start off our adventure we had to gather up sticks for our camp fire.
Our make-shift fire pit at the edge of the driveway.
The kids loved roasting marshmallows.
Out in the tent
I was out there with, SJ, HP, AJ, JP and KW. We made it until 1:30am and by then I had all the kids inside :). Not to bad for our first try.
Once it decided to get a little warmer the bouncy house got some good use.
