Memorial Weekend

While we waited for brother to get home from school dad put Kdub to work washing his Quadtrack.

When JP got home from school on Friday we loaded up in the car to make our annual Pinwheel deliveries. First stop was for Grandpa Bob.
The ground was a little tough so dad had to help get them in.

Next stop was for Grandpa Bud

Saturday we were lucky enough to have to O's come for a short visit.  The best friends were re-united again :).  I don't think they left each others side from the time they got to town to the second they left for home!

Saturday night Liv (She informed me that she didn't want us to call her Oli but Liv or Livy is okay) got to stay at our house while the boys stayed with D & K and Grandma MA's. The girls were in hog heaven!  On our way to town to meet up with the boys we stopped at Grandma C's to show Liv Love Bug.  Grandma was nice and made up a new bottle for the girls to feed her.
Love Bug was not so sure what to think about these girls chasing her so she was on the move!
Once she saw the bottle she was happy to be out in the grass with them.

Next Stop .... check in on the chicks

The last time I saw these guys they were little fluffy chicks!  Liv had no fear and couldn't wait to catch one of those chicks.

Looking for eggs from the big chickens.
Love Bug did not complain about all the attention she received while we were there.
 Feeding the chicks dried corn

T-Ball

JP's first year of T-ball is so fun.  He is loving it and if a parent or grandparent doesn't classify a T-ball game as entertainment I don't know whats wrong with them.  JP's team is made up of Kindergarten and first graders with 1 second grader.  It is so fun to see him play the other teams that have his friends on them because when ever they get to his base or vice verse they stop to have a chat. Their coaches are truly wonderful people to try and get this age group to focus and learn the game!

JP and his buddy Cody - Yes you do see a kid sitting down in the outfield.  Like I said their coaches are WONDERFUL people to try and keep these kids in line.
 Ella's turn up to bat
Kdub with Abby and Grace.  Kdub has loved that she gets to play with Grace during t-ball!

Kdub is 5!

On one hand it is so hard to believe that our "baby" is 5, on the other I can't believe it is only her 5th birthday. She is so grown up and ready to be a "Big Girl" which she tells me daily when I try to help her with things and she reminds me that big girls don't need help.
For her birthday dinner Kdub really wanted McDonald's but I convinced her that she since we had brothers t-ball game that she probably wouldn't want to make the 20 min drive there at 7 and maybe she would like to pick someplace in town to eat.  Much to mommas delight she picked the Mexican restaurant :).
Grandma MA, T, Grandma C got to come with us after JP's game which was really fun.  Kdub had a great dinner and got to open some super birthday gifts.

 Butterfly friend party

After everyone arrived it was time to do our butterfly project

They boys weren't super excited about the butterfly's but I promised them their mom's would love them :).
 Kdub and her BFF Marsh

One Happy birthday girl!  Mom frosted the cake and cupcakes and Kdub did all the decorating!  I thought she did a great job.
well except her name and the number 5... I convinced her it would be ok if I did those
