Today was our first day of school. JP is at his first day of Kindergarten and Kdub is starting her 2nd year of pre-school. The kids were so excited this morning. JP has been waiting a LONG time to start Kindergarten and after our "Back to School Night" last night he was so pumped to get to his new class room and get started.

After discovering that the boy sitting next to him has a shared interest in Mario Cart and Transformers I was talking to JP about all the new friends he is going to make in Kindergarten and he said "yeah, I will make lots of new friends and my old friends, well I don't have to make friends with them because they are already my friends."
This morning I made breakfast for the school crew and Kdub was very disappointed that I didn't have any sausage. When P came around the corner she ran for a hug and after he picked her up she whispered in his here. "Don't even ask, she doesn't have any sausage" :)

He was so excited to be able to show dad his classroom. He was so glad that Dad took a morning break from harvesting to come see his room.
Getting started on his morning project and mom and dad took their exit! Can't wait to hear what he has to say when he gets off the bus in an hour!
