Snow Days

Monday morning was a big surprise when we woke up to 6 inches of snow!  FINALLY!  The rest of the week was just as exciting because the snow didn't stop falling until Friday.  Wednesday was the kids first official snow day home from school.  Mom had to work and Dad put the kids to work!
Thanks to Aunt LJ's snow brick molds the kids built a little bunker (with help from dad)
They had this finished by the time mom got home from work.  They hid behind it and when I pulled in the driveway they pelted my car with snowballs.  P said the kids were so excited to do it that they waited outside for an extra 45 min to be sure I didn't see them hide there when I pulled in the driveway.
On Thursday we went across the way to do some sledding with our neighbors.  P & I took the snowmobiles over to help cart kids up our hill.
 One girl and 7 boys.....
So much fun!!!  They were finally wore out after 2 hours of sledding.
After we finished the big hill we had hot chocolate in our neighbors shop.
Some pictures from around the house Friday morning

P went down to help a neighbor get his rig unstuck and managed to get himself stuck in the process so we had to call in another neighbor and his loader....

I got the report that after Bryan's car was out that the loader got stuck and P had to bring the Quadtrack down to get the loader unstuck.  :) Good thing we love the snow!
We spent Friday afternoon back in the snow.  This time on the hill right next to our house.  Dad was nice and brought mom's snowmobile over to give us rides up the hill.

Kdub was not happy with the time lag between reaching the bottom and getting back to the top!
Another 2 hour adventure and the only thing that got them inside was that it was getting dark!
