Yesterday was the first day in .... well I can't remember, that we got to stay home all day! The rain was nice and held out for parts of the day so we were able to get in some great outside time with Love Bug. She is on Vacation this week from Grandma's barn, and Kdub is LOVING every minute of it.
The kids did such a great job leading her. I was amazed at how well Kdub was able to hold on to her. She only lost the halter once and Love Bug didn't go far just kicked her heals up twice and then stopped :).
Rocky did not like it when Love Bug tugged on the halter and made Kdub dig her heals in. He made sure to stay close to keep an eye on things.

JP is not as over the top about Love Bug as Kdub is but is still very happy to help out and practice leading her around... now all we need is someone to teach us what we are doing! We think she will probably be too big at fair time but we will see.
Back in the stall
Kdub has asked SEVERAL times if she can sleep in the barn with Love Bug. Her response to, "it will get really cold out here at night" is "you can get me blankets."
